MIDDLEBRICK FIRE DEPARTMENT
Middlebrick Fire Department operates out of two fire stations with a fleet of 10 fire apparatus total. Each vehicle has it's own designated purpose, and is outfitted with equipment to meet or exceed the standards of the National Fire Protection Association.
MFD currently operates a total of 3 fire engines (excluding the parade engine) 2 tanker pumpers, 1 QUINT ladder truck, 1 Special Utility vehicle, a utility pickup and a command SUV. Both fire engines are outfitted to respond to any type of emergency call, and are first out for any rescue incident, motor vehicle accident, hazardous material response, and fire within the village. Our ladder truck operates as a QUINT and is second out to any fire with the exception to chimney fires and mutual aid fires, at which it is first out. Tankers are third out to fires within the village and first out to fires in the township areas where water supply may be lacking. Both or our tankers are built to serve as pumpers as well and can operate the same as a fire engine at any fire scene. For a more detailed description of each apparatus and it's responsibilities, choose from the list on the right.
