MIDDLEBRICK FIRE RESCUE
Established in 1928, Middlebrick Fire Department (MFD) began as a small volunteer fire service providing fire coverage for Middlebrick Township. As the town grew so did the needs for a full-time fire station to provide fire and rescue services.
Currently located in the village of Middlebrick, MFD provides fire suppression and rescue services for Middlebrick Village, Middlebrick Township and Huntsbrick Township covering a total of 72 square miles. Today MFD employs both full-time and part-time fire/rescue personnel to respond to 911 emergency calls 24 hours a day, year round out of two stations, and requires that all firefighters be dual certified as paramedics to ensure the maximum effectiveness of our firefighters no matter the call. MFD maintains a fleet of nine (9) fire apparatus, each with it's own special purpose. Our fleet ranges from the engines to walk-in units and pickup trucks, for a detailed look at each choose from the list to the right. |
